little giveaway for a baby

Made this little sheeprattle and a few baskets to use in the nursery...

cozy rectangle shrug cardigan

This shrug cardigan is keeping me warm and cozy on cold winter days...made with 100% sheepswool from the former GDR...
The design is again very simple, a rectangle with a chevron pattern that is basically sewn together at the short sides, when folded in half, leaving some space for the arms and then included some cuffs.

Leftover granny squares as lamp shade

Over 4 years ago I made these lovely crochet granny squares, but could never decide what to do with it, because I made those from leftover yarn. Sometimes it just takes some time to decide what to do, soafter a few years I came up with the idea to brighten up my lampshade a little bit and I am very happy with the results:

For this project I used simple cotton yarn from Norway.

huge cozy blanket throw

Month ago, I wanted to start a new blanket for lazy days on the couch. I usually have trouble to decide which pattern to use, when I work on a project. For this throw I wanted to have a simple but yet pretty pattern which I can crochet without much thinking.

So eventually I started to write my own pattern. For this huge throw, I used again wool from the former GDR. ( see the other post where I made the cardigan for my daughter)

Update: it is finally done! I am finished with my cozy and I am very pleased with the outcome. The total size is 150×180 cm.

Warm and cozy cardigan

For this Cardigan I used very old unused sheepswool from the former GDR, so over 30 years old and still in perfect condition 🥰 My daughter wanted to have a cozy cardigan for cold winter days at home. I basically measured her up to have a size and then I started crocheting some simple pattern. I devided this piece into two parts which formed a vest and sewed them together in the back. After that I crocheted the arms. My daughter wanted to help me get finished, so I taught her to crochet the flower applications and the border. She is very pleased with the results...

sweet little sheep -süßes kleines Schaf

For a very long time my daughter wanted to have an amigurimi, so I came up Dedris website and looked up some of her lovely patterns and i found this sheep pattern. My daughter loves my version but to be honest, I think I won't be doing another small thing for a very long time, it is so much tiny work. ..
